2. Scope of the Policy

- GuvenTravel Sherlock
- WhatsApp Business customer communication services
- GüvenTravel web applications
- Customer support systems
- Reservation and travel service integrations
- Authorization and user login systems
- API integrations used by GüvenTravel
- Other digital services actively used by GüvenTravel
The inclusion of a platform in this policy does not mean that all services of that platform are used by GüvenTravel.
Data is processed only within the scope of actively used integrations that are necessary for the relevant service.

Depending on the service used and the transaction carried out by the user with GüvenTravel, the following information may be processed:

- Telephone number
- E-mail address
- Other contact information provided by the user
Messaging Information
When WhatsApp Business or similar communication channels are used:
- WhatsApp profile name
- Telephone number
- Message content
- Message date and time information
- Message and user identifiers
- Photos, documents, or other files sent by the user
- Message delivery and status information

Reservation and Travel Information
Depending on the nature of the service requested by the user:
- reservation information,
- ferry ticket information,
- tour information,
- hotel reservation information,
- travel information,
- other information related to the service request
may be processed.
Information provided by the user for the purpose of carrying out a specific service is used only to conduct the relevant transaction and fulfill legal obligations.
Technical Information
Where necessary for the secure and proper operation of digital systems:
- system transaction records,
- date and time information,
- application or session identifiers,
- API transaction information,
- error and security records
may be processed.
4. Purposes of Using Personal Data
Data may be processed for the following purposes:
- Receiving and responding to user requests
- Conducting customer services through WhatsApp
- Performing reservation transactions
- Providing information about ferry, tour, hotel, and travel services

5. Meta and WhatsApp Business Services
Meta and WhatsApp Business infrastructure may be used within the scope of GuvenTravel Sherlock.
If the user contacts GüvenTravel via WhatsApp, the message and user information necessary to conduct the communication may be processed through Meta and WhatsApp infrastructure.
These data are used by GüvenTravel;
- to receive the user's message,
- to respond to the message,
- to conduct the customer support process,
- to provide the requested travel or reservation service
for these purposes.
GüvenTravel does not sell users' personal data obtained through Meta or WhatsApp to third parties.
6. Google Services
GüvenTravel may in the future use authentication, communication, calendar, file, or other API services provided by Google for certain services.
If a Google API integration is activated, only the permissions necessary for the relevant service to function will be requested.
If Google user data is accessed;

- the purposes for which this data is used,
- how the data is stored,
- with whom it may be shared
will be clearly specified in this policy and, where necessary, on the relevant service screens.
Google user data is used only to provide features requested or authorized by the user.
If the scope of Google integrations changes, this policy will be updated to reflect the relevant data use.
7. Microsoft Services
GüvenTravel may, where necessary, establish integrations with authentication, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, or other digital services provided by Microsoft.
If these integrations are activated, only the user permissions and data necessary for the relevant service to function will be used.
Microsoft user data is not used except to perform services authorized by the user and expressly specified by GüvenTravel.
8. Other Service Providers
To operate digital services, GüvenTravel may use service providers such as;
- communication infrastructure providers,
- server and hosting providers,
- software and integration providers,
- e-mail service providers,
- reservation systems,
- security and technical support services
Data is shared with these parties only to the extent necessary to provide the service.
9. No Sale of Personal Data
GüvenTravel does not sell users' personal data.
Personal data is not transferred to advertising data brokers or third parties for the purpose of commercially selling user profiles.

The relevant telephone number, e-mail address, or other necessary identifying information may be requested to determine which account or user the request belongs to.

Data that is not legally required to be retained and for which no valid processing purpose remains will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized after the request has been evaluated.

13. Revoking the User's Permissions on the Platform
Users may revoke certain access permissions previously granted to GüvenTravel by using the account and application settings provided by the relevant third-party platforms.
Revoking an access permission may cause some features connected to the relevant integration to become unavailable.
Revoking permission does not necessarily mean that records GüvenTravel is legally required to retain will be automatically deleted.
The user may also submit a data deletion request to GüvenTravel.
14. Data Belonging to Children
It may be necessary to process information relating to child passengers within the scope of GüvenTravel's travel services.
This information is processed only for the purpose of carrying out the relevant travel, reservation, or legal transaction and to the extent necessary.

Users may exercise their rights arising from applicable data protection legislation regarding their personal data.

Data processing activities carried out by Meta, WhatsApp, Google, Microsoft, or other third-party platforms within the scope of their own services are subject to the privacy policies and terms of use of the relevant platforms.
GüvenTravel is responsible only for data processing activities carried out under its own control.

This policy may be updated when new digital services or integrations are introduced, existing services are changed, or legal requirements change.
