This page has been prepared for users who wish to request the deletion of personal data processed within the scope of GuvenTravel Sherlock and digital services belonging to GüvenTravel, provided by GÜVENTUR SEYAHAT TURİZM ACENTESİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ.
Users may request the deletion of personal data related to them and controlled by GüvenTravel.
1. How to Submit a Data Deletion Request

If your request concerns GuvenTravel Sherlock, Meta, or WhatsApp services, the following expression may also be written in the subject line:

2. Recommended Information to Include in the Application
To ensure that your request can be associated with the correct user account, please provide the following information where possible:
- First and last name
- The phone number you use with GüvenTravel services
- The email address you use with GüvenTravel services
- The service or platform to which the request relates
- A brief explanation of the data you want deleted
For example:
Relevant service: GuvenTravel Sherlock / WhatsApp Business
Request: I request the deletion of my personal data associated with the GuvenTravel Sherlock system.
3. Information You Should Not Send for Security Reasons
When submitting a data deletion request, do not send the following information by email:
- Passwords
- Bank or credit card passwords
- One-time verification codes
- Meta, Google, or Microsoft account passwords
- Unnecessary identity or financial documents
GüvenTravel does not request users' platform account passwords in order to process a data deletion request.
4. Verification of the Request
To prevent personal data from being deleted without authorization by another person, the applicant may be required to verify that they are the owner of the relevant account or contact information.
Only the information necessary for verification is requested.
If the requester cannot be verified, additional information may be requested in order to protect user security.
5. Data That May Be Deleted
Depending on the scope of the request and the use of the relevant service, the following data contained in systems controlled by GüvenTravel may be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized:
- Information associated with the user profile
- Phone number
- Email address
- Application user identifiers
- User identifiers associated with Meta or WhatsApp
- Message and communication records stored in GüvenTravel systems
- Application transaction records
- Technical records associated with the user account
- Documents or files provided by the user to the application
- Other personal data associated with the relevant user in GüvenTravel's digital systems
The deletion process can only be carried out for data in systems controlled by GüvenTravel.
6. Deletion of Meta and WhatsApp Data
GuvenTravel Sherlock may operate together with Meta and WhatsApp Business services.
The deletion of user data transmitted to GüvenTravel via Meta or WhatsApp and stored in GüvenTravel systems may be requested using the method described on this page.
If possible, please specify in your application the phone number you used when communicating with GuvenTravel via WhatsApp.
Your request will be evaluated, and the relevant data under GüvenTravel's control that is not legally required to be retained will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
7. Removing Application Access Permissions
Access permissions granted to GüvenTravel through a third-party platform may also be removed separately using the account or application settings of the relevant platform.
Removing access permission and deleting data previously transferred to GüvenTravel systems are different processes.
Therefore, if you also want your previously transferred personal data to be deleted, you may separately send GüvenTravel a User Data Deletion Request.
8. Google or Microsoft Integrations
When GüvenTravel uses an integration with Google, Microsoft, or another third-party service, users may remove the access permissions they granted to the relevant integration through the account settings of the relevant platform.
For data transferred to GüvenTravel systems and under GüvenTravel's control, the data deletion method on this page may also be used.
The management or deletion of data held by a third-party platform in its own systems is subject to that platform's own privacy and account management rules.
9. Data That Must Be Retained by Law
Some records may need to be retained for certain periods due to applicable legislation, accounting requirements, financial obligations, the resolution of disputes, or other legal requirements.
In such cases, only the information that is legally required to be retained is kept for the mandatory period.
Data for which there is no retention obligation and whose processing purpose has ended is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
10. Evaluation of the Data Deletion Request
After your application is received:
- Your request is recorded.
- Where necessary, the applicant is verified.
- Data associated with the relevant user in GüvenTravel systems is identified.
- Legal retention requirements are checked.
- Data suitable for deletion is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
- Where necessary, the applicant is informed of the result of the process.
Applications are evaluated within the periods and procedures prescribed by applicable legislation.
11. Removal of the Account or Application Connection
Removing an application's connection or revoking authorization on the relevant platform may not automatically eliminate records that GüvenTravel is legally required to retain.
