What Should You Check in the Itinerary When Choosing an Egypt Tour?

When choosing an Egypt tour, the total price alone does not provide a sufficient basis for comparison. Even if two programs appear to have a similar number of days, transportation, hotel nights, meals, and the scope of visits may differ. Before making a decision, read the information in the same order and ask in writing about any missing points.

1. Follow the departure and return from start to finish

The meeting point, departure airport, and the first visit point of the tour may be different places. Check whether transfer to the airport is included in the package, which stops the transfer is provided from, and where you will be dropped off on the return. If a city name does not appear in the product title, do not assume that a transfer is provided.

2. Separate hotel nights from the number of days

Mark each day in the program as arrival, sightseeing, travel, free time, or return. Write the hotel stays alongside this list. If the promotional text, the duration field, and the daily schedule do not match, confirm which information applies to the date you have selected.

3. Read the included services item by item

  • Is the flight and baggage allowance clearly stated?
  • Are airport and intercity transfers specified?
  • Are the hotels or the hotel selection conditions explained?
  • Is it clear which meals are served on which days?
  • Are museum and site entrance fees listed individually or with a clear scope?
  • Does it state the guiding language and the parts of the service in which guiding is provided?

Do not consider a broad phrase such as "all inclusive" sufficient on its own. Find out whether this phrase describes the accommodation concept at the hotel or the services within the tour package. Read the section on what is not included with the same care.

4. Separate optional activities from the main program

An activity described in the program may be charged separately. For an activity such as a balloon ride, camel excursion, dinner show, or similar, ask whether participation is optional, how the fee is communicated, and how travelers who do not take part will spend that time. A promotional image or activity name alone is not proof that the activity is included.

5. Confirm documents and participation conditions

Verify the information about passports and entry procedures for your travel date and personal situation with the authorized sources. If a short phrase in a product field and the description give different information, request a consistent explanation before booking.

If the program mentions an activity with separate participation conditions, such as diving, get information from the actual operator about the type of activity and the participation assessment. This article does not provide an individual entry, health, or diving suitability assessment.

6. Make the final comparison on the product you choose

While reviewing the Güventur Antik Mısır Turu page, you can build your own checklist using the headings above. For other options, return to the Mısır Turları category. For payment and transaction steps, read the Rezervasyon ve Ödeme Rehberi, and for general change headings, read the İptal, İade ve Değişiklik Rehberi; separately confirm the specific conditions of the tour you select.

The Greek island facilitated-entry visa scheme is intended for eligible Turkish citizens travelling by sea from Türkiye to participating Greek islands. It requires an application and approval; it is not a visa that every traveller can obtain simply by arriving at the port.

Contact GÜVENTUR before booking to confirm whether the scheme is operating for your travel dates, the permitted stay, fees, required documents and submission deadline. Prepare your passport copy, biometric photographs, financial documents, return ferry booking and accommodation details as requested. Entry remains subject to the Greek authorities’ decision.

Browse the Lesvos tours or ferry tickets on the GÜVENTUR website. Open the product details, choose an available date and departure port, and review the programme, inclusions and conditions before completing your booking.

For help choosing a trip or checking availability, contact GÜVENTUR through the website’s contact or WhatsApp options. Your booking confirmation will include the relevant travel and document instructions.

The file generally includes a valid passport and copy, recent biometric photographs, the completed and signed application form, financial documents, a return ferry booking and accommodation confirmation. Additional documents may be required for your circumstances.

Ask GÜVENTUR for the current checklist and submission deadline before preparing your file. Passport validity, blank pages, photograph requirements and supporting documents must meet the Greek authorities’ current rules. Submitting documents does not guarantee visa approval or entry.

Travellers must carry a valid passport and meet the entry requirements applicable to their nationality and passport type. Turkish citizens holding ordinary passports generally need a valid Schengen visa or an approved visa under the Greek island facilitated-entry scheme, where available.

Visa exemptions apply to certain Turkish special, service and diplomatic passport holders. These rules do not apply automatically to travellers of other nationalities. Confirm your eligibility and current document requirements before booking; GÜVENTUR can assist with document checks and the application process.

GÜVENTUR can help arrange car rental on Lesvos. Port or hotel collection may be available, depending on the rental company, vehicle availability and your booking.

Book in advance, especially in busy periods. Before confirming, check the accepted driving licence, minimum age, deposit, insurance, collection point and return conditions with the rental provider. Turkish-language support is available through GÜVENTUR.

GÜVENTUR offers day trips, 2-day tours with 1 night and 3-day tours with 2 nights on Lesvos. Day trips usually return on the same day; overnight programmes allow more time to explore the island.

Depending on the itinerary, visits may include Molyvos, Petra, Plomari or Agiasos. Not every programme visits every destination. Check the selected tour page for the exact itinerary, accommodation, departure times and included services.

Children and infants need their own valid travel documents and must be included in the ferry booking. Visa requirements depend on the child’s nationality and passport type; being a child does not by itself create a visa exemption.

Child and infant fares, age limits and any visa-related charges vary by operator and programme. Check the selected trip and contact GÜVENTUR about the documents needed for minors, including any consent or accompanying-adult requirements.
