Our guests holding burgundy (ordinary) passports are required to obtain a valid Schengen Visa for their travel dates or, provided that they submit their documents to our agency on time, a Greek Islands Visa on Arrival. Holders of green (special) passports are exempt from visa requirements. To enter the island without any issues, all passports must have at least 6 months of validity, and there must absolutely be no TRNC entry stamp in the passport.

Greece's official currency is Euro (€). International credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) work smoothly at major shopping points such as Jumbo Mall, which we will visit on the 1st day of our tour, the Barbayanni Ouzo Factory in Plomari, and Lidl Market on the 2nd day. However, for extra payments such as coffee/lokma breaks in authentic villages like Agiasos and Mandamados, small boutique shops, or Taverna night, we recommend that you carry cash Euros in small bills with you.

Yes! On the 1st day of our tour, at the lunch breaks we will have in the seaside town of Plomari and on the 3rd day in Petra, our guests are given free time to swim in the cool waters of the Aegean. Therefore, you should definitely have a swimsuit, towel, beach sandals, and sunscreen in your suitcase. Also, since on the 3rd day we will climb 114 steps to reach Petra Monastery and walk through the cobblestone stone streets of historic villages such as Agiasos and Molivos, it is extremely important for your comfort to wear a non-slip, comfortable, and orthopedic walking shoe.

Our tour’s departure point is Ayvalık Customs Port. On Friday morning, to ensure that ticket delivery, check-in, passport, and customs procedures are completed on time and without delay, we meet our Güventur team at the port at 07:30. After the procedures, we reach Mytilene by making an enjoyable sea journey in the Aegean waters that takes approximately 1.5 hours with our ferry, whose planned departure time is 09:00.

No, our Greek Tavern Night, held with live music, sirtaki, and rich Aegean mezze to keep the island’s traditional entertainment culture alive on the evening of the 2nd day of our tour (Saturday), is an extra (optional) activity.
