***A fee of €50 per person will be charged for name changes (letter changes). However, if the name change is made in the system less than 7 days before the departure date, the system will consider it as a cancellation and apply the cancellation fees.
ABOUT THE ADDITIONAL TAX BY THE GREEK GOVERNMENT:
As of July 21, 2025, the Greek Government will implement a new cruise passenger fee under the Sustainable Tourism Program. This mandatory fee applies to all guests passing through Greek ports, regardless of age. The fee applies to both guests disembarking at the ports visited and those leaving the cruise in Greece. Guests who remain on the ship will not be charged this fee.
To facilitate the process, MSC Cruises will collect this fee on behalf of the Greek authorities and the amount will be automatically added to the guest's account at the end of the cruise. If guests prefer to stay on board without disembarking, the relevant fee will be automatically deducted from their accounts within 24 hours.
