The main route of our tour, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia, does not require visas for Turkish citizens; in other words, you can join visa-free with your Burgundy (ordinary) passport, provided it is valid for at least 6 months. However, if you wish to join the optional Dubrovnik (Croatia) excursion on the evening of day 4, since Croatia is a member of the European Union, a multiple-entry (Multi) Schengen Visa or a Green Passport is required. Guests without a visa will spend this time at leisure in Trebinje, where our hotel is located.
The 7 breakfasts and 6 dinners to be served at our selected 4- and 5-star hotels are included in the tour price. In addition, the local Macedonian Night and Bosnian Night entertainment, which our guests greatly enjoy and which feature live music and folk performances, are included in the price at no extra charge, along with the dinners. Throughout the tour, all lunches are at our guests’ own expense during free time.
Most Balkan countries (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, etc.) have their own local currencies; Montenegro and Kosovo, however, use the Euro directly. In tourist areas, as well as for extra expenses and shopping, Euro (€) is widely accepted everywhere. Therefore, it is sufficient to carry small banknotes (5, 10, 20 €) with you. If needed, our guide will direct you to reliable exchange offices.
Absolutely not! The biggest advantage of this tour is that there is no surprise money collected on the bus under the name of "Mandatory Extra Tour" or "City/Highway Tax." All the important excursions specified in the program, such as Matka Canyon, St. Naum, Blagaj Tekke, Kotor, Budva, and Rozafa Castle, are included in the tour price. (Only the Dubrovnik tour, which requires a visa, and completely optional personal expenses such as individual boat rides on the lake/canyon are excluded).
To avoid exhausting long bus journeys, our transportation from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Skopje is provided by SunExpress with a non-stop, direct flight. Also, upon our arrival in Skopje, we do not immediately begin a bus journey; instead, we are transferred directly to our hotel to spend the night and rest.
