DAY
Izmir - Skopje Direct Flight - Skopje Accommodation
At 11:00 PM, we meet at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Terminal with our valued guests. After check-in and baggage procedures, we board our flight with SUNEXPRESS AIRLINES, departing at 01:55 (DIRECT) and arriving at Skopje Airport at local time 02:20. After collecting our luggage and completing passport and customs procedures, we transfer to our hotel located around Skopje.
2nd DAY
Skopje – Tetovo (Kalkandelen) - Bitola (Manastir) – Resne - Ohrid
After having breakfast at our hotel, we start our journey towards first to the city known as Tetovo by the Macedonians and as Kalkandelen by the Turks. Here, we will visit the Alaca Mosque, which is unique in the world for its decorations and motifs, created by two sisters. After this fascinating visit, we will have a sampling of traditional pastry and original goat cheese made from goat's milk and ayran at the summit of Mavrovo Mountain surrounded by forests. Later, we will head to the historical and cultural treasure of Macedonia, one of the oldest cities in the Balkans, BITOLA (Manastir). After seeing the Old Bazaar, the Bedesten, Ishak Mosque, and New Mosque, we will take a short walk along the famous Shirok Street. During the walk, we will see the house of Eleni Karinte, Atatürk's first love in Manastir, and listen to the emotional letter she wrote to Atatürk from our guide. Afterwards, we will visit the Military Academy, which is now a museum, where Atatürk received his military education. Later, we will head towards the Pearl of Macedonia, Ohrid. On the way, we will see Resne, famous for its apples and Niyazi Pasha. We will also see Niyazi Pasha’s Palace, who is considered a traitor by some and a patriot by others. As our guide shares his story, you will understand the origin of the phrase "Neither a Martyr nor a Hero, Niyazi went down in vain". Among the places we will see in Ohrid are the important churches from the Byzantine era, including St. Panteleymon, today still used for concerts, along with the Roman Theater, the Samuel's Fortress, Chinar Square, Ohri Halveti Teke, and the Historical Chinar Tree, and the statue of the Kiril & Metodi Brothers, who are believed to have developed the Cyrillic alphabet. (Optional) Afterwards, we will enjoy a pleasant boat trip on Ohrid Lake, where you can see breathtaking views. We will have dinner accompanied by traditional Macedonian music and entertaining traditional Macedonian entertainment. After a lovely evening, we retire to our rooms for rest.
3rd DAY
Ohrid – Sveti Naum – Elbasan – Tirana – Shkodra Area
After breakfast, we arrive at Saklı Cennet St. Naum, located on the slopes of Pelister Mountain, where the green and blue merge at the source of Lake Ohrid. Here, you can take a 20-minute boat tour to enjoy the unique sounds of nature (optional), or just relax with a coffee in this peaceful location. This area, also recognized as Unesco World Heritage, is home to the Sarı Saltuk Tomb and St. Naum Monastery. We then continue our journey to Albania. We arrive at the Macedonia - Albania Border, complete our passport and customs procedures, and continue along the Shkumbini River Valley. Our route takes us through Elbasan, one of the cities founded during the Ottoman period, and we arrive at TIRANA, which was established by Suleiman Pasha in 1614 and became the capital of Albania in 1920. We will visit Ethem Bey Mosque, the Historical Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet Building, the Parliament and Prime Minister Buildings, the Presidential Palace, and Skanderbeg Statue and Square. After completing our tour, we proceed to SHKODRA, where we will see the historic Rozafa Castle and hear its story from our guide. We then check into our hotel located in the Shkodra area. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
4th DAY
Shkodra - Budva – Kotor – Perast – Mostar/Trebinje/Medugorje (Optional Dubrovnik Tour)
After breakfast at our hotel, we settle into our vehicle and head towards MONTENEGRO. We will take a quick photo break at a point where we can see the Sveti Stefan Island, one of the most popular tourist destinations along the Adriatic coast, as we travel through Bar and Petrovac. Continuing along spectacular views, we arrive at KOTOR, a nature paradise and a tourist attraction that was never conquered by the Ottomans due to its geographic conditions. Our walking tour of Kotor will include many historical landmarks such as The Sea Gate, The Arms Square, The Historical Clock Tower, The Shame Column, Beskuca Palace, St. Triphon Cathedral, The "Gossip" Fountain, St. Nicholas and St. Luke Churches, and the important squares and mansions of the old town. After our Kotor tour, we will head towards Perast, a remarkable medieval village under UNESCO protection. We'll take a short photo break at the two small islands in front of it, the first being a monastery island called St. George, which is closed to the public, and the second being Lady of the Rocks island made by human hands 600 years ago. After this beautiful sight, we will complete customs procedures at the Bosnia-Herzegovina border and leave Montenegro, entering Bosnia and Herzegovina. **Optional Dubrovnik Tour: After having dinner at the hotel, guests with Schengen visa or green passport can depart from Trebinje to Dubrovnik after dinner or at a convenient point during the tour, following a short journey to the Bosnia-Herzegovina-Croatia Border. The optional tour will occur if there are enough participants. After completing passport and customs procedures, we arrive in Dubrovnik. We will tour the famous city of Dubrovnik, known for its Medieval sites, formerly known as Ragusa. Surrounded by fortified walls on a protected peninsula, we will see the impressive city walls and gates, Onofrio Fountain, Franciscan Monastery, the 14th-century pharmacy, Bell Tower, Orlando's statue, St. Blaise Church, Sponza Palace, Rector’s Palace, and the historic harbor. After the visit, we depart from the city and head back to our hotel in Trebinje. *This tour can only take place if there is accommodation in Trebinje. *This tour is subject to availability based on the participation of guests with valid green passports or visas.
5th DAY
Trebinje - Blagaj (Sarı Saltuk-Alperenler Tekkesi) - Mostar - Konjic – Sarajevo
After our breakfast, we visit the 550-year-old Alperenler Tekke located in Blagaj. This stunning tekke, situated in a beautiful natural setting, will impress you greatly. We then head to MOSTAR, where we visit the legendary Historic Mostar Bridge; we will see the iconic Koski Mehmet Bey Mosque for a view of Mostar Bridge and also visit the Karagöz Mosque. We will also see the war memorials. We will complete our tour by visiting the Goldsmiths Bazaar. Afterward, we will have free time in the rich bazaar of Mostar. After leaving Mostar, we head towards SARAJEVO. Following the route where the Balkan landscape is adorned with mountains and rivers, we start our scenic journey. At Jablanica, a site of legendary resistance during World War II, we will see the Neretva Bridge, which was blown up to prevent the passage of German supply trains. Afterwards, we arrive at the capital of BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA, SARAYBOSNA. Known as the cultural capital of the Balkans for two centuries and the site where Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in 1914, leading to World War I, Sarajevo is often referred to as the Jerusalem of Europe due to its religious diversity. Despite the heavy destruction during the wars between Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks in 1992, the city has retained much of its beauty. Our walking tour in Sarajevo starts with the Old Library, which was burned during the Bosnian War, followed by Sebilj Fountain, Inat House, Hunkar Mosque, and the Latin Bridge, where the assassination of Franz Ferdinand took place. In the Austrian section of the old city, we will see the Church of the Sacred Heart, the Eternal Flame Monument, the Open Market where the Market Massacre occurred, a Synagogue, and in the Turkish section, we will visit the Ferhadija Mosque, Morica Inn, and Gazi Husrev Bey Complex. After completing our tour, we will have free time at Baščaršija before heading to our hotel. We enjoy dinner with traditional Bosnian music and a folklore team either at our restaurant or hotel. 6th DAY
Sarajevo - Belgrade
After breakfast at our hotel, we head towards BELGRADE. We will enjoy a delightful journey along the scenic mountains, reaching the Bosnia-Herzegovina - Serbia Border for our passport and customs procedures. We continue towards the capital of Serbia, BELGRADE, known as the “white city” in Serbian, sitting at the meeting point of the Sava and Danube rivers. Upon our arrival, we will begin our tour with buildings such as the Parliament, Old Palace, National Museum, and Scale Fountain. Following this, we will have a walking tour of the old town, visiting the Belgrade Fortress at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. We will see the Gate of the Clock Tower, Istanbul Gate and Outer Gates, the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, the Sokullu Mehmet Pasha Fountain, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, the Military Open Air Museum and the Monument of Gratitude to France. During free time, guests can explore Mihailova Street, known as Belgrade's "Independence Avenue" for a leisurely stroll. In the evening, we will have dinner and accommodation at our hotel in Belgrade.
7th DAY
Belgrade - Skopje
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for MACEDONIA’s capital, SKOPJE. We head to the city center, where we will see the main squares and avenues, as well as many statues and neo-classical buildings constructed as part of the Skopje 2014 Project. We start our walking tour in front of Skopje Fortress. First, we will visit Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Sulu Han, Murat Pasha Mosque, the Double Bath, the Old Bazaar, Kapan Hand, Davut Pasha Bath, and Stone Bridge, and then also experience the city's modern vibe at Macedonia Square, where we will find numerous statues of significant Macedonian historical figures including Tsar Samuil, Justinian, II. Philip, Queen Olympia, Alexander the Great, and the Mother Teresa Memorial House. At the end of the tour, we will have dinner at the Traditional Turkish Bazaar with Dafce Grafce (Baked Bean in a Pot) and Skopje Meatballs, then return to our hotel. Accommodation in Skopje.
8th DAY
Skopje - Matka Canyon - Prizren - Izmir (Direct Flight)
After breakfast at our hotel, we proceed to MATKA CANYON, located about 15 km southwest of SKOPJE, where the Treska River meets the Vardar River, recognized as one of the 100 natural wonders of the world. This stunning canyon, with its serene environment and variety of flora, resembles a hidden paradise. Guests can choose to participate in a boat tour or relax at the cafes there. We then enter Kosovo, continuing towards its capital, Priština, where we will visit the tomb of Sultan Murat Hüdavendigar, the only Pasha of the Ottoman Empire martyred in battle. Afterward, we arrive at the charming city of Prizren, nestled at the foot of the Šar Mountains, with the Bistrica River flowing through it. We will visit Halveti Tekkesi, Gazi Mehmet Pasha Hamam, and one of the finest examples of period architecture, Sinan Pasha Mosque. We will then have free time at the square with the famous Kosovan Meatball vendors. After meeting our guide at the designated time, we will head to Skopje Airport for our necessary passport and check-in procedures, and depart with SUN EXPRESS AIRLINES for a 03:10 AM DIRECT flight to İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport. This beautiful city of Albania, nestled in the mountainous Balkans and having endured wars throughout the 20th century and a 40-year dictatorship under Enver Hoxha, features sites such as the Ethem Bey Mosque, Historical Clock Tower, National Museum, Opera and Ballet Building, Parliament and Prime Ministerial Buildings, Presidential Palace, as well as Skanderbeg Statue and Square. We complete our tour and proceed to ISHKODRA, which bears the same name as the lake it is built by and was an important base for the Ottoman army for 435 years. After visiting the historic Rozafa Castle and learning its story from our guide, we settle into our hotel in the Ishkodra area. Dinner and accommodation are at our hotel.

Trebinje - Blagaj (Sarı Saltuk-Alperenler Lodge) - Mostar - Konjic - Sarajevo After our breakfast, we visit the Alperenler Lodge, which has been living for 550 years, located in Blagaj. This lodge, situated in a natural wonderland, will deeply impress you. Following this, we head to MOSTAR to visit the legendary Historical Mostar Bridge, a remarkable structure in Bosnian history. We also view the Mostar Bridge from the Koski Mehmet Bey Mosque, one of the preserved and undeterred historical artifacts of the Old Town, and we'll visit the Karagöz Mosque. We will see the Martyr's cemeteries left over from the war. Our tour concludes with a visit to the Goldsmiths' Bazaar, allowing for some free time in Mostar's rich market. Sarajevo - Belgrade
After having breakfast at our hotel, we head to BELGRADE. After a pleasant journey accompanied by the unique natural beauties of the mountains along the way, we reach the Bosnia and Herzegovina - Serbia border crossing. After passport and customs procedures, we continue our journey towards BELGRADE, the capital of Serbia, while seeing the villages known for their agricultural organizations in the relatively flat region of Serbia. Founded at the junction of the Sava and Danube rivers, Pannonian Plain means "white city" in Serbian and this city is, just like its name, spacious, bright and peaceful. Upon arriving, we start our walking tour to get to know the historical city closely by seeing magnificent structures such as the Parliament, Old Palace, National Museum, and the Scale Fountain. We visit the fortress that dominates the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. We explore the Clock Tower Gate and the Istanbul and outer gates, the point where the Danube and Sava rivers meet, the Sokullu Mehmet Pasha Fountain, the Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, the Military Open Air Museum, and the Statue of Gratitude to France, with the information provided by our guide. During our free time, those who wish can stroll through Belgrade's “Istiklal Street” on Mihailova Street. At the end of this beautiful day, we settle in our hotel in Belgrade for dinner and accommodation.
Belgrade - Skopje

We move to the city center of Skopje, seeing the main square and boulevards of the city, as well as numerous statues and neo-classical buildings built under the Skopje 2014 Project, starting our walking tour in front of Skopje Fortress.
