- Trabzon: Visit to Sümela Monastery, located in Altındere National Park, built on steep cliffs.
- Craft Stops: Visit to famous knife workshops in Sürmene and an introduction to Telkari & Kazaziye art in Çaykara.

- It is generally a temperate climate type with rainy seasons. Frontal and orographic precipitation dominate the region. The presence of high mountains parallel to the coast has created an environment for increased rainfall. Although there is not much difference in rainfall amounts across the region, the most rainfall is observed in autumn and the least rainfall occurs in spring. The region is also the most humid in our country. For this reason, the annual and daily temperature differences are not significant. Additionally, winter does not get very cold in the region, but it is rainy. Rainfall mostly occurs in the form of rain, although snowfall, frost events can occur, and fog is also frequently observed.
- Summer months in the region are also temperate, with the average temperature of the warmest month not exceeding 22°C-24°C. The average temperature of the coldest month is always above 0°C. Occasionally, cold air masses from the northwest may affect the region, but this effect diminishes as one moves further east.
- According to geographical features, the region shows variations in terms of temperature and precipitation. Rainfall occurs as the cool and humid air coming from the Black Sea rises along the Northern Anatolia Mountains. Due to the higher elevation in the Eastern Black Sea Region, the most precipitation is observed in this area. The annual rainfall amount averages around 2000 mm (2300 mm in Rize). In the southern part of the Northern Anatolia Mountains, this figure drops as low as 300 mm. The Central Black Sea Region is the part of the region that receives the least precipitation due to a decrease in elevation. Here, the average annual rainfall amounts to about 700 mm.
- In the Western Black Sea Region, the elevation is lower compared to the Eastern Black Sea Region, resulting in less precipitation in this section. The annual rainfall amount averages around 1200 mm. Overall, the annual rainfall in the region can exceed 2000 mm, especially in the Eastern Black Sea Region, while it can drop to 600 mm in the Central Black Sea Region.
