(A WhatsApp group will be established for all our overnight tours.) ATTENTION! You can join this tour from the route of Kula, Uşak, Afyon, and Konya. After having our breakfast at a conveniently chosen location by our guide, we start by panoramically viewing the IHLARA VALLEY, which is one of the most important retreat places in the CAPADOCIA REGION with its interesting natural structure and churches carved into rocks. After completing our visit here, we move on to the KAYMAKLI UNDERGROUND CITY. We enter this underground city, built 7 layers deep and only 15% of which is open to visitors, through narrow corridors. We explore living areas such as churches, chapels, wine cellars, and food storage areas, receiving information from our guide. After leaving this enchanting atmosphere, we continue our tour by seeing UCHISAR CASTLE, the highest point in the region, and PIGEON VALLEY through the ORTAHISAR route. Then we arrive at the POTTERY workshops. You will have the opportunity to sit at a workbench and make your own pottery with the help of a master. Afterwards, we see the preparation of the famous pumpkin seeds roasted in milk, do various tastings, and have the chance to shop. Later, we take photos and enjoy short walks in PASABAGLARI, where the fairy chimneys are abundant, and see the retreat points carved into the rocks. In the evening, we check into our hotel. HACI BEKTAŞ-I VELİ TOMB - GÖREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM - DEVRAN VALLEY - THREE BEAUTIES - ÜRGÜP - ASMALI KONAK - AVANOS Guests who wish can participate in an extra Hot Air Balloon Tour early in the morning with our guide or join in watching the balloons take off. After having breakfast at the hotel, we move towards HACI BEKTAŞ. We visit the Tomb and Complex of the famous Turkish and Islamic mystic thinker HACI BEKTAŞ-I VELİ. Here, we explore the Three Fountains, Nadar Courtyard, Lion Fountain, Dining Hall, Square House, Guest House, and also visit the BALIM SULTAN TOMB. After this, we head towards the GÖREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM. We will explore the Rock Churches; Monastery of Priests, Monastery of Nuns, Basil Church, Barbara Chapel, Snake Church, Sandal Church, Dining Hall, and Cellar. Continuing our tour, we visit the DEVRAN VALLEY (FANTASY VALLEY), known for its fairy chimneys resembling various shapes, and the THREE BEAUTIES Fairy Chimneys, which are symbols of Cappadocia, among other places we will see. After a photo break, we stop by TURASAN winery, one of the largest wine factories in Turkey. You can learn about Cappadocia's award-winning wines at the winery and shop if you wish. Later, we will see the mansion where the memorable series "Asmalı Konak" which captivated everyone and became a worldwide hit was filmed, though we will only view it panoramically since it is closed. In AVANOS, we conclude our tour with a visit to the ONYX Workshop to see the precious stones found in the area. Accommodation and dinner will be at our hotel. If sufficient participation is provided, you can attend the Traditional Turkish Night entertainment organized extra by our guide. Accommodation is at 5* Crystal Hotel or similar.
In the morning, after having breakfast at our hotel, we will visit the Sultanhanı Caravanserai, the largest of the Seljuk architectural inns on the historic Silk Road. From here, we will reach another city rich in countless historical, cultural, and natural treasures, KONYA. After a free time for lunch, we will visit the MEVLANA MUSEUM, which still preserves its mystery with its architecture and the interesting historical artifacts within the museum. After this meaningful visit, we will return to IZMIR through AFYON-UŞAK-KULA-SALİHLİ-TURGUTLU with convenient breaks, saying goodbye to our esteemed guests until we meet again on another tour.
