Our tour begins in the early morning hours with our comfortable transfer vehicles departing from Dikili (and from the stops along our route at Salihleraltı, Ayvalık, and Burhaniye). Upon arriving at our Akçay office, we switch to our private Land Rover 4x4 off-road vehicles (jeeps), with which we will carry out the summit ascent.
Since our safari tour follows bumpy routes through steep forest roads in 4x4 vehicles and reaches high altitude at the summit, participation by pregnant guests, people with advanced lumbar or cervical disc herniation, and those with chronic heart disease, hypertension or severe asthma is unfortunately not suitable for health and safety reasons.
Since our day tours use privately rented 4x4 jeeps from external providers and operating costs are paid in advance, we kindly ask you to notify us of any cancellation or date change request at least 72 hours (3 days) before the tour departure time. For cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance, unfortunately no refund or postponement can be offered, as the tour fee has already been paid to our suppliers.
During booking, we offer you two different options. If you choose our "Classic Summit Exploration" package, you may bring your own packed lunch/food with you. If you choose our "Full Summit Adventure" package, a lunch (a hearty packed lunch menu) that you will enjoy in the unique nature of Tozlu Yayla is included in the price.
The summit of Kazdağları can remain cool and quite windy even in the summer months. For this reason, you should definitely bring a thin jacket, windbreaker or cardigan with you. Since there will be short walks over the terrain, we also recommend wearing comfortable, non-slip sports shoes and bringing sunglasses and a water bottle with you.
Yes, you can join. On our daily tours, babies aged 0-2 years (travelling in arms) are free; however, we kindly ask you to take the rough terrain conditions into account. A 10% discount applies to children aged 2-6 years. As a legal requirement, children under 18 who join a tour without at least one of their parents must carry a notarized parental consent letter.
