In this special program, where you will spend a full 4 days without losing time thanks to the direct Izmir-Samsun departure and Trabzon-Izmir return flights; in Samsun, you will follow in the footsteps of Atatürk, greet the Black Sea from Ordu Boztepe, discover the mystery of Sümela, and by staying 1 night in Batumi, we will cross beyond the borders.

We meet at 04:00 in the morning at the Adnan Menderes Airport Domestic Flights SunExpress counter and depart for Samsun on the 06:00 flight. After our arrival around 07:30, we take our breakfast break (extra) and start our tour on the lands where the War of Independence began. We visit the magnificent Onur Monument (Atatürk Statue), which ranks 2nd in the world in terms of balance, and the Bandırma Ferry that brought our Atatürk to Samsun (if open). Then we set off toward Ordu. We go up to Boztepe by cable car, where we will view the city from a bird's-eye view, and take wonderful photos, doing justice to the lines "You should go up to Boztepe and look at Ordu." Dinner and accommodation are at our hotel.

After breakfast at our hotel, we head to Sümela Monastery, the symbol of the Black Sea. After listening to our guide’s historical information at this magnificent structure built on steep cliffs, we go up to Haremtepe (Çeçeva) village in Rize Çayeli, where the famous tea commercials were filmed (extra, depending on weather conditions). After capturing wonderful shots in the orderly tea gardens, we head to the Sarp Border Gate. We complete our exit procedures from Turkey and enter Batumi. We view Gonio Fortress panoramically and take a photo break at the Upside Down House. We explore Europe Square, the Medea Statue, Piazza Square, Saint Nicholas Church, and the Poseidon Statue. After seeing Ali and Nino and the Alphabet Tower along the coastline, we check in to our hotel. Guests who wish may join the Georgian Night in the evening (extra).

After the breakfast we will have in Batum, we enter Turkey through the Sarp Border Gate. Arriving in Artvin Borçka, we take minibuses up to Karagöl, the mirror of nature. After our walk around the lake, we head to Rize Ardeşen and take a lunch break (extra) by the Fırtına Stream. Those who wish can do rafting or zipline in the lively waters of the stream. Afterwards, we set off toward Ayder Plateau via Çamlıhemşin. With our guests who wish, we join the Huser Plateau tour (extra), famous for its sea of clouds and unique view. At the end of the tour, we visit Gelintülü Waterfall in the heart of Ayder Plateau, and after our photo break, we go to our hotel for dinner and accommodation.

After our breakfast, with our guests who wish, we join an extra tour by minibuses to Çat Valley, Şenyuva (Çinçiva) Bridge, Zilkale, and Palovit Waterfall. After our plateau excursions, we visit the Rize Cloths (Feretiko) workshop. Along the way, we stop by a tea factory to hear about the journey of tea and do some shopping. Then we move on to the world-famous Sürmene knife workshops, watch the production stages, and take a shopping break. Finally, we complete our shopping for Trabzon local products (butter, cheese, corn flour, etc.) and take an extra dinner break in Trabzon city center. We head to Trabzon Airport and return to Izmir on our 23:10 direct flight.

Thick sweaters, fleece jackets, and thermal clothing that you can put on and take off as needed are a lifesaver. You should definitely bring a raincoat or windbreaker against sudden downpours.

- 🛂 BATUMI (GEORGIA) BORDER CROSSING RULES (VERY IMPORTANT)
- For crossings into Georgia, only the new-generation chip ID card of the Republic of Turkey or a valid passport can be used. Due to legal requirements, all IDs, including those of babies and children, must have a photo. If our guests under 18 are joining the tour with only one parent, they must have a notarized "Consent Letter" from the non-participating parent (even if divorced), or if neither is present, from one of them. If crossing is not possible at the border gate due to missing personal documents, our agency bears no responsibility; no refund can be claimed. Georgian customs is very strict regarding medication; when carrying your chronic medications, please have your doctor's prescription with you.
- ✈️ FLIGHT, TICKET AND BAGGAGE RULES
- Our tour operates with scheduled SunExpress flights. On air tours, the name, surname, and T.C. ID number provided during reservation must exactly match the information on the ID; otherwise, the risk of being denied boarding belongs to the guest. After ticketing, name and date changes cannot be made under any circumstances. Our agency cannot be held responsible for delays or schedule changes caused by the airline. Guests must be at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight time.
- 🌦️ REGIONAL CLIMATE AND CLOTHING SELECTION (OCTOBER PERIOD)
- Since our tour will take place during the autumn period (October 29), the weather in the Black Sea region and on the plateaus may be cool and rainy. Instead of bringing a single thick coat, we recommend bringing "layered" clothing such as cardigans, fleece, and sweatshirts that you can put on or take off as needed. It is critically important for your tour comfort to bring a raincoat, umbrella, and a comfortable walking shoe (trekking style) with a non-slip, waterproof sole.
- 🧭 GUIDE DISCRETION AND EXTRA TOURS
- In situations such as the Black Sea region's rapidly changing weather conditions (heavy rain, fog), heavy traffic, or waiting times at the border gate, our region-expert tour guide has the right to make mandatory route changes in order to ensure the safety of guests. The extra tours specified in the program (Çeçeva, Huser, Zilkale, Karagöl, etc.) are carried out entirely depending on weather, road conditions, and a sufficient number of participants.
- 📱 INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION AND ROAMING
- As soon as you enter the borders of Georgia (Batumi), the standard tariffs of your operators in Turkey cease to be valid.
