Yes, since Lesbos (Midilli) Island is within the borders of Greece, it is subject to visa requirements. Our guests holding a burgundy (ordinary) passport are required to have either a valid Schengen Visa for their travel dates or, provided that they submit their documents to our agency in advance and in full, a Greek Islands Visa on Arrival. Green (special) passport holders are exempt from visas. In order to enter the island without any issues, all passports must have at least 6 months of validity and the passport must definitely not contain a KKTC entry stamp.
Our tour’s departure point is Ayvalık Customs Port. To ensure that ticket delivery, check-in, passport, and customs procedures can be completed on time and without delay on Saturday morning, we meet with our Güventur team at the port at 07:30. After the procedures, we reach Lesvos by ferry, enjoying a pleasant journey on the blue waters of the Aegean.

International credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) work smoothly at the Lidl Market we will visit on the 1st day of our tour, the Mystakelli Cheese Farm on the 2nd day, and the large stores on Ermou Street. However, for coffee/lokma breaks in authentic villages such as Agiasos and Mandamados, small boutique shops, or extra payments such as the Taverna night, we recommend that you carry cash Euros in small denominations with you.
No, on the evening of the 1st day of our tour (Saturday), the Greek Tavern Night with live music, sirtaki, and rich Aegean meze, organized to keep the island’s traditional entertainment culture alive, is an extra (optional) activity. Guests who wish to take part in this unforgettable entertainment can easily make a reservation by registering their names with our guide during the tour.
Yes! In the fairy-tale town of the island we will visit on the 2nd day of our tour, Molivos (Mithymna), our guests are given free time for lunch by the sea and swimming to cool off in the waters of the Aegean. Therefore, you must definitely have a swimsuit, towel, beach sandals, and sunscreen in your luggage. Also, on the 2nd day, since we will climb 114 steps to reach Petra Monastery and walk through the cobblestone streets of villages like Agiasos, wearing comfortable, orthopedic walking shoes with non-slip soles is very important for your comfort.
