Separate Piraeus from central Athens

Seeing Piraeus on your ferry ticket does not mean you have reached your hotel in Athens. Plan the arrival port, the hotel address, and the airport or station where you will continue as separate points. If you have heavy luggage or limited mobility, walking distance also matters.

Confirm the gate on the day of travel

Piraeus is a large port. Do not assume that the E1 or E7 information from an older article is fixed for every sailing. The operator's port map is a starting guide; confirm the correct location with your ticket, the latest notices, and the directions given at the port.
